Wanetta Morrow and
legendary songwriter/singer, the late Dottie Rambo. Wanetta Morrow Biography As many singers do, Wanetta began her singing career in church and has loved singing since her childhood. She continued with her passion in college singing in a concert chorus and has formal training in voice lessons. Her versitile vocal ability affords her the luxury of many musical styles, from country, gospel, modern Christian, adult contemporary, and some pop. She has won beauty pagent talent competitions as well as karaoke contests. When she is not working on her career, she is still singing, in her church's choir, at local funtions, and also directs the childrens musical annually. Due to her local popularity, Wanetta is often asked to perform at community events including beauty pageants, church revivals, weddings, and local gospel shows. She was also chosen to sing at Renfro Valley during their 2004 country showcase. She went on to win 1st place in the Renfro Valley Gospel Talent Contest in 2006 with her orinial song "Run To Love". In addition, she has had performances aired on some area radio stations in her native Kentucky. In Wanetta's own words, "I'm not really looking to be a big star. I just want to sing and have people enjoy it." Wanetta's long term goals are to perform her own material in a live show, which she is well on the way to achieving. She is currently recording a series of original songs, one of which is the featured song clip on this site, "I'm Strong", an inspiring and beautiful gospel song. Wanetta Morrow is available for live shows, backup vocals (live or studio), and lead vocalist for songwriters and others needing vocal talent. |
